Minuto is a decentralized, interest-free, regional means of payment. It is based on self-created time vouchers that are backed by the performance of the voucher creators. The free concept was developed by Konstantin Kirsch. Project page: https://minutocash.org/.

Issuing Minuto time vouchers

 
A group of trusted people meet to introduce the Minuto. Each Minuto creator stamps their vouchers on the Minuto template with their name and address and then signs and dates them. A male and female guarantor also stamp and sign. Now the last year of validity and the region with the zip code are entered in the respective fields. Minutos are valid for 5 years, i.e. for vouchers produced in 2018, for example, 2023 is the last year of validity. "Good" Minutos should have the offers / services of the voucher creator on the back, as this increases the acceptance of the vouchers. There is also a customizable template for the back. Once everything is ready, the vouchers can be cut out.
 

To be fair, the guarantors also create their vouchers and have them guaranteed. It is important to mention that not everyone has to create vouchers. It is sufficient to accept the minutos to support the concept.
 

Using the vouchers

 
The vouchers can be used as normal like cash, but only among those who accept these vouchers. For example, if someone helps you for 1 hour and you are satisfied and they accept Minuto, then the helper receives a 60 Mintuo voucher from you. The helper can then come back to you and "redeem" the voucher with you later or he can, for example, get help from others and then pass on the voucher. In this way, the voucher can move from hand to hand until it returns to the voucher creator at some point.
